So what exactly is a flat plate aluminium sign?
As implied by the name, flat plate aluminium signs are constructed from aluminium sheet; in the case of all of our signs, this is 3mm thick thus offering something far more robust than equivalent signs in most plastic or composite materials.
Flat plate aluminium signs are available in standard sizes ranging from A4 (297 x 210mm) up to 1800 x 1200mm and, in most instances, a choice of shapes, including rectangular, gable, bow-topped, round-topped and gothic.
All of our sign panels are available for wall, railing or post-mounting. Wall mounted versions are supplied ready-drilled and complete with screws and wall plugs whilst railing and post-mounted versions come complete with 2 or 3 runs of aluminium “U” channel riveted to the rear face to accept fixing clips which are also supplied.
The front faces of flat plate signs can be finished either in coloured vinyl (in one of a choice of 16 shades), providing the ideal background to take computer-cut vinyl lettering, or, for more complicated graphics, with a full-colour digital print. The latter technique also lends itself to the application of an anti-graffiti laminate in instances where this is deemed to be prudent.
